Perform activities in Operation and Maintenance related issue for DXX and transmission
Maintain the stability and the quality of the DXX network
Install and upgrade Transmission system in Digicel Network. Assist in the operations, maintenance and system support, analyze system performance for the purpose of effecting improvementsDay to day monitoring on DXX Network faults from NMS.
Troubleshoot faults and assist engineer on field.
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for NMS and nodes on site.
Execute work order / request from RF for site expansion, rehoming, migration (based on plan given by planner).
Raise CSR and follow up with supplier for problems in a network.
Daily alarm and healthy check, Log Event check and System backup.
Elaborate monthly report
1. Transmission System Update: Records updates, Reports verification, Database update
2. Transmission Equipment Evaluation, technician support to the operators NOC.
3. Troubleshooting
4. Analysis of Performance of the system: The analysis of the network to guarantee the good action of each link
5. Program and to execute maintenance routines.
6. Network Upgrade: Upgrade radio and fiber optic transmission system as required.
7. Site Acceptance Testing: Verify the appropriate function of equipment according to International specification. Verify the execution of good
standards in the installations.
8. Create monthly reports of acting of the network SDH.

Engineer in telecommunications/electronics or equivalent
At least two (2) years experience in maintenance of telecommunications network.
Operation and maintenance of Ericsson Microwave transmission systems.
Power system maintenance and operation.
