Fonctions

Plan International seeks an experienced Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Technical Advisor, to be located in Port au Prince, Haiti; to develop and carry out a portfolio of water and sanitation projects in rural communities of Haiti, to improve access to safe water, provide adequate sanitation and prevent water – related diseases. This is aligned with the objectives of Plan International framework (Child Centered Community Development and other Plan policies) in Haiti. This work includes temporary and permanent water supply and sanitation projects in the communities attended by Plan Haiti.


Qualifications réquises

Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field required, masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in implementing water and sanitation programs is required.
• Experience in both emergency and non-emergency setting strongly preferred as is familiarity with Plan International or other INGO’s field work.
• Strong project design and project management experience with proven track record of successful management of several projects simultaneously.
• Extensive experience managing staff, contractors, and construction works.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and achieve results through collaboration are preferred.
• Must be flexible and adaptive to change and computer proficient, especially in MS Office.
• Knowledge of French or Creole is preferred.
