Impacts des déchets de matières plastiques sur l'environnement de la commune de Port au Prince (2010-2012)Impact of plastic waste on the environment of Port au Prince (2010-2012) Summary The concept of waste management is now known all over the world, and the quantity of wastes produced in the world keep on increasing every day. Among the wastes, we choose those from plastics within the context of writing of our thesis with a view to present the aftermaths of wastes on the environment. Basing on the limits of classical methodological ways of impact evaluation of this plastic debris on Port-au-Prince environment, this thesis underlines the consequences of theses wastes, not only in the ecological view, but also the sanitary one. This one also underlines the importance to take into account these wastes. In spite of their bad aftermath, they can play a role in the boost of Haitian economy by creating job with the implementation of recycling industries, which ones can also contribute in power energy of the City.In the other side, that research work also shows the level of information of the people about plastic wastes, even if we base on ecological and sanitary view. Considering the result found in a helpful side, the state authorities, including the civil society, must take care of control environment issues by implementing program based on management of wastes especially those from plastics.
