Social entrepreneurship and povertyPoverty alleviation has always been a concern in developing countries, including Haiti. From the late 1970s to today, this country has faced economic and political instability, with a large negative impact on social indicators. Despite considerable funding unlocked to help this country and multiple strategic development plan developed by governments, the situation has hardly changed.
