EFFETS DES CRUES SUR LES TERRES AGRICOLES AU NIVEAU DES BASSINS VERSANTS DE LA RIVIERE GRISE ET DE MONTROUISThis study work concerns the effects of flooding and erosion of river banks in the river Grise and Montrouis in agricultural areas nearby. It has been possible thanks to the use of available GIS tools (Software: MapInfo, free version of Google Earth, ArcGis) together with primary data collection tools. Conversion and kml / kmz files quantification web sites as well as Global mapping software were also valued in the realization of this work. The use of these tools has allowed us to map river beds from 2002 to 2010, quantify and monitor their evolution during the different periods sequenced. The surveys have allowed, first, to validate the work realized with different mapping tools above-mentioned. Secondly, the data collection of flooding and erosion effects on the farm (river banks). The results have shown that riverbeds of the river Grise and Montrouis suffered during 2002-2010 a huge spatial digression of 1.02 km2 with a total loss of 40.84% of farms affected. It may be the situation becomes worse in the future if the preventive and corrective actions will not be conducted both upstream and downstream in the both rivers studied. Fichier:
