Introduction

The Enhanced Community Health Program is designed to strengthen HRC in its role as an auxiliary to the Haitian government by increasing the skills and outreach of its volunteer network to enhance community health services in partnership with MSPP. The program has been working in collaboration with the Haitian Red Cross Society and supporting the expansion of its volunteer network, training and capacity building of volunteers and HRC, behaviour change activities for the vulnerable women and children and overall supporting HRC to strengthen its capacity to providing access to essential health care services and facilities for the beneficiaries. In order to know the program details further, please refer to the Program Implementation Plan (PIP) and Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) of ECHP.
ARC is currently seeking individual contractor/firm to conduct the project’s end-line survey (mainly report writing). The contractor/firm will be responsible for conducting data analysis and report writing of the surveys conducted for La Gonave and Canaan areas. ARC would be directly responsible for the overall survey design, sample plan development and data collection. The contractor/firm will be asked to work remotely with no travel to Haiti.

Data analysis and Report Writing

- Data will be shared with consultants in the CVS (Excel) original format as well as a SPSS copy

- Calculation and use of sampling weights (both weighted and non-weighted results)

- Use of appropriate variance estimation technique, descriptive and inferential statistics as required and given the sample design

- Report writing in English language.

Data analysis and report writing will include the following types of questionnaires;



1) Household questionnaire related to Mothers with children aged 0-23 months.

ARC Monitoring and Evaluation team will take responsibility for survey design and implementation of the survey. The contractor/firm will NOT be responsible for the following:



1. Indicator design

2. Questionnaire development

3. Smart Phone Data Entry Form Design

4. Data Entry

5. Enumerator Training and Data collection


Profil du consultant ou des consultants ou de la firme

Required qualifications of consultant/firm
1. Post graduate degree from a recognized institution relating to social research, survey methodologies or monitoring & evaluation
2. Minimum 6 years relevant experience in sample survey design, survey implementation and data analysis, preferably in the development/NGO sector in developing countries
3. Strong statistical analysis skills of statistical survey data and report writing in English
4. Demonstrated expertise in sample design and data analysis for stratified, clustered, and multistage surveys
5. Experience of survey work with similar purpose, mode and populations strongly preferred
6. Professional work experience in Haiti and/or Caribbean
